BOCA RATON, Fla., September 15, 2008 – Procacci Development Corporation today announced that it has signed two new Class A+ office leases within Emerald View at Vista Center, located at 2054 & 2056 Vista Parkway in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Humana, one of the nation’s largest publicly traded health and supplemental benefits companies, signed a lease for 10,130 square feet at the property. The new office will serve as a location where South Florida employer groups, government agencies and individuals can have access to a wide array of health and benefits plans.
Post, Buckley, Schuh & Jernigan Inc., a consulting firm based in more than 80 offices in the United States and overseas that specializes in infrastructure planning, engineering, construction management and architecture, signed a leased for 3,500 square feet at the property.
“Securing national tenants such as Humana and Post, Buckley, Schuh & Jernigan is a strong indicator and testament that there is a true need in today’s market for our hurricane-resistant buildings that offer durability in construction, 100% power back up and strategic locations which are ideal for businesses of any size,” said Debra Kremblas, Vice President of Procacci Development Corporation. “Despite the current economic climate, since March 2007 we have completed the development of eight new buildings consisting of approximately 500,000 square feet of commercial space at Emerald View at Vista Center and Crossroads at Dolphin Commerce Center in Miami. Of this space, we have leased or sold more than 380,000 square feet to top-tier tenants, which represents an occupancy rate of 76%.”

Emerald View at Vista Center is located in West Palm Beach at Okeechobee Boulevard and Florida’s Turnpike, on the 7th and 8th holes of the Emerald Dunes Golf Club. When complete, this project will consist of three buildings totaling more than 180,000 square feet of Class A+ hurricane-resistant office space designed to withstand winds up to 185 mph of a Category 5 hurricane. These buildings are equipped with back-up generators that provide a “100% business as usual” environment with enough fuel on-site to operate for up to fourteen days before requiring refueling.
